a seed turned flower

When will we realize that there is no good or bad. When will we truly understand that there is no right or wrong, when will our families accept the fact that we are who we are and we can be no other than who we already are.

How do we make them believe that we can go far. How do we deal with the insecurities that often pull us down. How do we look in the mirror and acknowledge all of who we are, have been and will be.

Why do they make it look so hard. Why does it seem that its quite easy actually. Why don’t we love as freely as we ought to be. Why would we rather build barriers and keep it going strong.

What if its not what it seems to be. What if its all in the mind. What if the heart is stronger. What if it can be done. What if its true, that if there is a will there is always a way.

And if there’s always a way.. lets choose to see it no other way.

some say love it is a river
that drowns the tender reed.
some say love it is a razor
that leaves your soul to bleed.

some say love it is a hunger
an endless, aching need
isay love it is a flower,
and you it’s only seed.

it’s the heart afraid of breaking
that never learns to dance
it’s the dream afraid of waking
that never takes the chance

tt’s the one who won’t be taken,
who cannot seem to give
and the soul afraid of dying
that never learns to live.

and the night has been too lonely
and the road has been too long.
and you think that love is only
for the lucky and the strong.

just remember in the winter
far beneath the bitter snow
lies the seed that with the sun’s love,
in the spring, becomes a rose.

I like it.

(",) ... tiba tiba teringat "why do we hurt the ones, we love the most" ... hahahaha ... not that I really like that line, its just that with the so many "why"s and "what"s reminds me of the line.

but choosing the right perspective to complement those of your parents is also a question, a touchy one you can never find the right answer. Unless you parents try to see it your way.

my friend warned me, if my daughter ever complaint how I'm treating her with over protectiveness, my friend would come and give me a reality slap as I always complaint about how MY parents are treating me now. heh.

Talking from experience, we'll only understand our parents when we become parents ourselves.. ;)

i surprised my self when i tell my little nephews.. noooo that's not good.. this is better for you.. when i realize, what's better for me.. not neccesarily better for him :)
i feel that.. parents will be parents, brothers will be brothers and sisters will be sisters.. the youngest in the family will most often be a typical rebel.. like me :)
and in this world.. deep down in our hearts are our secrets, our desires, big or small.. its our sanity, commitment and responsibility that takes us where we are today..
sacrifices, compromises.. :) at the end of the day.. when we look back with no regret.. we wont wonder why so much .. everything will explain itself.. :) insya Allah...:)

I'm the middle child.

once upon a time, I've lost it. I told off my eldest sister. I was 21 then.

"I have to look after a 26 yr old sister and a 24 yr old brother who behaves like 18 year olds and a 10 yr old sister and a 8 yr old brother who behaves like 5 yr olds!"

its hard being the rock to most people when they expect you to understand their choices but never tried to understand you.

yes. love is flower and me its only a seed.

love is a rafflesia and me is the seed in need of a rare kind of fertilizer. hahaha.

its okay to smell bad in the outside. people who come close enough despite the smell, there's a better smell awaits them. the smell of pure beauty. that you don't get in nice smelling flowers that looks beautiful and which you can get easily everywhere.
