i was at bsc last night given the opportunity to see the breakers a vocal band from new york. i had a very good time and would say enjoyed myself tremendously. when i see people perform, it gives me a positive energy, a great vibe. i have a very good friend who sings very, very well accompanied with his guitar, and everytime i feel like the world seems like it would end [ okay , drama queen takes over ] all i do is think of those times when he would play the guitar and sing for me. its lovely to see such talented people that honour their gift from [G]od and sharing it with the people around them.
that past nights have been sleepless. creating another melancholy day for the morning after. is it just me or has the past few days appeared gloomy, dark, and sort of dull. i remember the saying ' nak tido nanti jgn lupa basuh kaki ' [ ' wash your feet before u go to sleep ' ] . is this a myth , or even a common practice anymore. its those dreams that i get every night that reminds me of this saying when i was much younger. avoiding what my mom would call ' mengigau ' or [nightmares] i still sometimes forget to wash my feet.

a song originally performed by cyndi lauper, also at the show last night, which still lingers in my head ...
Lying in my bed I hear the clock tick,
And think of you
Caught up in circles
Confusion is nothing new
Flashback--warm nights--
Almost left behind
Suitcase of memories,
Time after--
Sometimes you picture me--
I'm walking too far ahead
You're calling to me, I can't hear
What you've said--
Then you say--go slow--
I fall behind--
The second hand unwinds
If you're lost you can look--and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you--I'll be waiting
Time after time
After my picture fades and darkness has
Turned to gray
Watching through windows--you're wondering
If I'm OK
Secrets stolen from deep inside
The drum beats out of time--
You said go slow--
I fall behind
The second hand unwinds--
Time after time
Time after time
Time after time
Time after time

...Lying in my bed I hear the clock tick, And think of you, Caught up in circles, Confusion is nothing new...
it was a meaningful song lyric i ever read... here n there...
julia... ramai lagi yang lupa basuh kaki sebelum tidur, so... switch to brush your teeth before you go to bed... simple, isn't it?
dear julie,
at least to remove all the dirt b4 goin to bed.
don't forget to brush teeth too.
i've always miss all the good thing. i miss kl la..
Ahh.. Time after time. I got the Rob Thomas version of this song. Kinda his personal favourite.
Ever the sentimentalist... not that it's a bad thing. Finer feelings can break your heart, but it can also make it stronger. Trust your feelings with an open, rational mind.
Your friend must be quite the guitarist for you to have such high regards for him. Maybe you should consider pairing up with him and sing a duet? TIME AFTER TIME is a duet if I'm not very much mistaken.
Hope you're feeling better... Take care of yourself ya.. See you soon!
